Do you need waterproof, pressure or environmental testing?

Tiller Scientific+Medical has installed a pressure chamber that can test products up to 150 bar or approx 1500 metres depth.

We are using this chamber to test pressure integrity on a number of exciting projects. While they remain cloaked under Non Disclosure Agreements, we can report recent success in passing a repeated 400 metre test for one project.

Combined with our heat and environmental chamber which can cycle devices from -20 to +70 degrees Celsius, we are now well equipped to test our product designs and meet the strict environmental specifications that our clients need.

Tiller Scientific+Medical, Leading Product Development & Product Design Sydney. We work with clients in the Scientific, Military and Medical device markets to help them generate their next generation products.

International Conference on Design Management, San Francisco

Delegates from our office are currently attending the Design Management Conference in San Francisco. We are eager to hear about the latest trends and ideas in this area, and will post some highlights when they return. We are always looking to improve our quality management system and design management, to ensure clients success.

Also, we have implemented a full Quality Management System for
our specialist Medical and Scientific Device Design Consultancy.
We also have within Tiller Design a Quality Essentials process which gives smaller projects excellent flexibility within proven process and management leveraging all the essential quality benefits from our experience of complex Medical Device Design.

The best of both worlds, offered through two independent but linked Industrial Design Consultancies.

Tiller Design work featured in Popular Science Magazine.

Australian Popular Science magazine, May 2009, featured a fascinating article on new technology and innovation relating to the human machine interface.

Tiller has been working in this area for many years in collaboration with Kord Defence and WetPC. Their flagship device - the hand held control unit for eyes free mobile computing - was discussed in the article. It was also mentioned in the recent federal government budget papers.

“It is exciting to see years of R&D, Design and hard work getting commercial take up. There is so much more we plan to do with this technology. We see this as the beginning of many new ways to interact with everyday devices,” said Robert Tiller.
